Spore-Based Probiotics Are Better Than Traditional Probiotics?

Spore-based probiotics are microbial balancers derived from the dormant spores of soil-based microorganisms.10designsforhealth, Dig up the dirt on spore-based probiotics designsforhealth. 2019

Compared to traditional probiotics, spore formula probiotics are highly stable in adverse environments, such as the stomach’s harsh acidic environment.

Thus, spore-based probiotics are more effective than conventional probiotics at colonizing the gut microflora and delivering added benefits.11Microbiomelabs, MegaSporeBiotic™ Microbiomelabs12MINDY WEISMAN, MegaSporeBiotic by Microbiome Labs Review lifesparknutrition. 202013designsforhealth, Dig up the dirt on spore-based probiotics designsforhealth. 2019

Megaspore and Mental Health

It is scientifically proven that many neurotransmitters are synthesized in the gut and communicate to the brain’s neuroreceptors via the bloodstream, establishing a gut-brain axis.

Thus, a healthy gut can promote healthy brain function and improved mental health by alleviating depressive symptoms.16Caroline J. K. Megaspore and Inflammation

The evidence shows us that Megasporebiotic has antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and immunomodulating properties.

In a clinical study, the participants receiving Megasporebiotic reported a significant reduction of inflammation after 30 days of usage.25Brian K McFarlin, Andrea L Henning, Erin M Bowman, Melody A Gary, and Kimberly M Carbajal, Oral spore-based probiotic supplementation was associated with reduced incidence of post-prandial dietary endotoxin, triglycerides, and disease risk biomarkers World J Gastrointest Pathophysiol. 2017

Megasporebiotic’s Amazing Gut Health Benefits

Megasporebiotic’s bioavailable probiotics have proven time and again to promote many gut health benefits.

Below are some examples of GI conditions that Megaspore has been proven to alleviate.

Leaky Gut/Intestinal Permeability

Studies suggest that consuming an oral spore-based probiotic supplement may significantly improve the symptoms of increased intestinal permeability, also known as “leaky gut” syndrome.26Brian K McFarlin, Andrea L Henning, Erin M Bowman, Melody A Gary, and Kimberly M Carbajal, Oral spore-based probiotic supplementation was associated with reduced incidence of post-prandial dietary endotoxin, triglycerides, and disease risk biomarkers World J Gastrointest Pathophysiol. 201727Caroline Reiff , Denise Kelly, Inflammatory bowel disease, gut bacteria and probiotic therapy Int J Med Microbiol. 201028Magdy El-Salhy, Nutritional Management of Gastrointestinal Diseases and Disorders Nutrients. 201929Heidi M Staudacher, Kevin Whelan, Altered gastrointestinal microbiota in irritable bowel syndrome and its modification by diet: probiotics, prebiotics and the low FODMAP diet Proc Nutr Soc. 201630P C Konturek, Yurdagül Zopf[Therapeutic modulation of intestinal microbiota in irritable bowel syndrome. Leaky gut syndrome is an inflammatory digestive condition in which bacterial toxins and metabolic by-products “leak” through the gut barrier due to increased endothelial wall permeability.

It is well-known that probiotic strains effectively inhibit the inflammatory cascade, help the process of food breakdown, and strengthen the mucosal barrier, thereby reducing the symptoms and helping people heal leaky gut syndrome.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome-IBS

Megasporebiotic effectively stimulates healthy intestinal microbes, helps the absorption of nutrition, and preserves overall immune homeostasis, thereby impeding the risk of the digestive tract’s inflammatory disorders such as inflammatory bowel disease.36Adrian Catinean, Adriana Maria Neag , Andreea Nita , Mihaela Buzea , Anca Dana Buzoianu, Bacillus spp. Spores-A Promising Treatment Option for Patients with Irritable Bowel Syndrome Nutrients. 201937Taylor C Judkins, Douglas L Archer, Dean C Kramer, Rebecca J Solch, Probiotics, Nutrition, and the Small Intestine Curr Gastroenterol Rep. 202038Caroline Reiff , Denise Kelly, Inflammatory bowel disease, gut bacteria and probiotic therapy Int J Med Microbiol. 201039Magdy El-Salhy, Nutritional Management of Gastrointestinal Diseases and Disorders Nutrients. 201940Heidi M Staudacher, Kevin Whelan , Altered gastrointestinal microbiota in irritable bowel syndrome and its modification by diet: probiotics, prebiotics and the low FODMAP diet Proc Nutr Soc. 201641P C Konturek , Yurdagül Zopf, Therapeutic modulation of intestinal microbiota in irritable bowel syndrome. Best Megasporebiotic Alternative

Small Intestine Bacterial Overgrowth – SIBO

Spore-based probiotics, especially those containing B. clausii, are a suitable adjunct to the treatment of Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO) as they are well-tolerated by most people and they help to reduce the recurrence rate after decontamination.

As an added benefit, spore-based probiotics used in the management of SIBO can reduce the patient’s dependency on antibiotics, thus limiting the risk of antibiotic resistance and adverse side effects.50Adrian Catinean, Maria Adriana Neag , Kiran Krishnan , Dana Maria Muntean , Corina Ioana Bocsan , Raluca Maria Pop, Andrei Otto Mitre , Carmen Stanca Melincovici , Anca Dana Buzoianu, Probiotic Bacillus Spores Together with Amino Acids and Immunoglobulins Exert Protective Effects on a Rat Model of Ulcerative Colitis Nutrients. 202051Maurizio Gabrielli, Ernesto Cristiano Lauritano, Emidio Scarpellini, Andrea Lupascu, Veronica Ojetti, Giovanni Gasbarrini, Nicolò Gentiloni Silveri, Antonio Gasbarrini, Bacillus clausii as a treatment of small intestinal bacterial overgrowth Am J Gastroenterol. 200952Wei Chung Chen, Eamonn M M Quigley, Probiotics, prebiotics & synbiotics in small intestinal bacterial overgrowth: opening up a new therapeutic horizon Indian J Med Res. 201453Angélica T Vieira , Mauro M Teixeira , Flaviano S Martins, The role of probiotics and prebiotics in inducing gut immunity Front Immunol. 201354Shaniko Shini, R. Full Body Health Benefits of Megaspore

Megaspore’s ability to recondition the gut, colonize the large intestine, heal infections such as leaky gut, and boost overall GI function is certainly impressive.

In addition to optimizing the gut-brain connection, it can improve many crucial parts of your full body health as well.

Immunity

Megasporebiotic works as an immune booster by inducing protective responses to pathogens and maintaining healthy regulatory pathways in the human body.

The improved immune response lowers the body’s inflammatory status by stabilizing homeostasis and improving clinical outcomes in patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and autoimmune diseases.

In general, a healthy microbiome is a prerequisite to a healthy immune system because of its symbiotic dependence.55Angélica T Vieira, Mauro M Teixeira, Flaviano S Martins, The role of probiotics and prebiotics in inducing gut immunity Front Immunol. 201356Yasmine Belkaid and Timothy Hand, Role of the Microbiota in Immunity and inflammation Cell. Megasporebiotic Dosage

Dosing Megaspore correctly is very important to its effectiveness.

Microbiome Labs knows how potent this probiotic is so they highly encourage you to follow their recommended dosing schedule to get the best results.

Week 1: 1 capsule every other day.

Week 2: 1 capsule every day

Week 3: 2 capsules simultaneously daily

I personally recommend going even slower by starting week 1 with 1/2 capsule every other day and bumping up to 1 full capsule on week 2.

As you notice symptoms subside titrate down to 1 per day and then eventually 1 per week.

It’s best to take with food.

Safety

Megasporebiotic is generally recognized as safe for consumption as a dietary supplement.

However, there are limited side effects that have been registered in a few clinical studies.

For instance, bacillus probiotics strains may produce biogenic amines and transfer antibiotic resistance genes, but this claim needs further investigation to ensure the safety of their phenotypes and genotype characteristics.105Na-Kyoung Lee, Won-Suck Kim , Hyun-Dong Paik, Bacillus strains as human probiotics: characterization, safety, microbiome, and probiotic carrier Food Sci Biotechnol. 2019106Na-Kyoung Lee, Won-Suck Kim, and Hyun-Dong Paik, Bacillus strains as human probiotics: characterization, safety, microbiome, and probiotic carrier Food Sci Biotechnol. 2019107Anna Zawistowska-Rojek , Stefan Tyski, Are Probiotic Really Safe for Humans? I’ve been using Megasporebiotic for over 2 years and have found it to be very beneficial.

I was referred to use Megaspore by other health practitioners who use it in their practice to help clients and patients heal major gut disorders.

As someone who has a long history of antibiotic use and subsequent gut issues, Megasporebiotic has helped me get my physical and mental health back on track.

I initially used Megaspore as part of their full gut reconditioning protocol in combination with the prebiotic and MegaMucosa formulas.

These days I add one capsule of Megaspore to my daily morning smoothie as a maintenance protocol.

For clients I work with who experience mental health and gut issues, I regularly recommend Megaspores full gut reconditioning protocol or the gut infection protocol for those experiencing more severe infections.
