Dr. Michael Blumenfield joined me to discuss the fascinating field of psychotherapy and his approach to working with patients suffering from mental health disorders.  Dr. Blumenfield’s most recent book, Shrinktalk, discusses these topics along with the topic of COVID from a psychiatrist’s perspective and how he would have changed the messaging for a better social impact.

About Dr. Michael Blumenfield

Michael Blumenfield, M.D. is a board-certified psychiatrist who does clinical consultations, psychotherapy, and psychopharmacology with adults. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Psychiatry and was certified in Psychosomatic Medicine in 2005 by the same board. He is the Past  President of the American Academy of Psychoanalysis and Dynamic Psychiatry (2012-2014).

In addition, Dr. Blumenfield has experience in forensic and industry consultations, including work with the entertainment and news media. He has also published a new book titled SHRINKTALK, available on Amazon.com
